No shipping to Austria from 01.01.2025

From January 1st, 2025, we will no longer ship parcels directly to Austria.

The reason for this lies in the new legal regulations. Until now, a German retailer had to license the packaging that was sent to end customers abroad in the respective country and bear the costs for this. Since January 1, 2023, this has changed: A German online retailer can no longer carry out the licensing themselves. Instead, a notarized representative based in Austria must be appointed to take over the packaging licensing. This new regulation entails considerable bureaucratic effort and high costs. Due to these changes, we have decided to stop shipping to Austria, as the effort is disproportionate to the income generated.

No direct shipping to Austria – how can customers from Austria still receive our products?

As a customer from Austria you can still order in our online shop.

Simply have your packages sent to friends or relatives in Germany and pick them up there. Alternatively, there are companies near the border that will forward them for you. We know that this is a bit inconvenient, but unfortunately there is currently no other option. To make things easier for you, we have researched and found a company that will forward your order to your Austrian address.

Parcel forwarding from Germany to Austria

The company Österreichpaket is responsible for the further transport of packages that come from Germany and are not delivered directly to Austria by the retailer of your choice.

This is how it works:

  1. You have found an item that is not shipped to Austria, but would still like to order it?
  2. Pay attention to the product details regarding shipping weight and dimensions. If the weight is slightly exceeded, Österreichpaket grants a tolerance of 10%.
  3. Create a customer account with Österreichpaket.
  4. Select the appropriate package from the overview that corresponds to the shipping weight and dimensions of your order.
  5. Choose your preferred payment method.
  6. After registration you will receive a customer number, which you can find under “My Account”.
  7. Order the desired item. To ensure correct allocation, please provide your individual customer number and the German delivery address of Österreichpaket.
  8. In most cases, your package will be forwarded on the same day, but no later than within 24 hours of arrival at Österreichpaket.
